For Shame Juju

Considering the amount of time I spend "farting around" on the Internet and the amount of opinion I have, the state of this blog is utterly shameful. Today I read an article on kathrynjennex.com titled "Why you should have a blogging *strategy*" by Joel Kelly... it set off a little fire in my belly.

I think I need a little strategy in my life to get my thoughts out, perhaps in something better than 140 character blips. For years, I have been a scheduling addict (I paid for personal MS Exchange hosting, but have since moved to Google Calendar) and I have decided that I should schedule some time every two weeks to get blogging. Maybe no one will read, but I need to exercise my written creativity a bit, so it's not so constrained to the task oriented writing I have been doing on spec or for friends.

I'm shooting for above mediocre at this stage in the game... and I'm referring to the syntax, not the ideas. As I won't have editors to reign in my disjointed, dysgraphic entries, here's hoping for the best.

It is really nice to see you blogging again. And I don't think you'll have to worry about no one reading your entries. I believe the scheduling will help you. I believe scheduling can help anyone.
